Paula Teague, the mother of three horse crazed girls, has 20 years of VHJA, Hunt Seat, and Western showing experience. Paula is a current 4H leader and feels that their motto "Learning by doing" has helped her students and children become independent and knowledgeable riders, and horse owners.
Paula has trained many horses, but the biggest challenge and teacher has been her own personal horses a 12 year old TBX gelding "Remington" that she bred as a jumper for her oldest daughter. Remi was slow to mature so even though he had been backed and started on the ground his real training didn't start until he turned six. Remi has a strong personality so after some soul searching the family decided that Remi was a better fit for Paula. Remi was started and shown as a hunter competing in the VHJA special and high modified division.
Paula started a more formal dressage training 3 years ago and loves the skills that have helped her improve her teaching and training with others. Weather show or pleasure Paula will help you meet your goals in the ring. Call to schedule a lesson today. 802-730-7628
